As the winter chill settles in, many families are bracing themselves against the cold. While we bundle up in cozy layers, there are those among us who struggle to stay warm during this season. At Creative Carpet & Flooring, we believe in giving back to our community, especially during these challenging times. That’s why we’ve launched our "Giving the Gift of Warmth" campaign, and we're inviting you to be a part of this meaningful endeavor.
What We're Collecting
Our goal is simple yet impactful: to provide warmth to those in need. Here's how you can contribute:
- Winter Coats and More: We're accepting winter coats in all sizes—infant, baby, toddler, junior, adult, and extended sizes. Additionally, snow pants, hats, scarves, gloves, and mittens are immensely helpful to protect against the biting cold.
- Blankets or Sleeping Bags: With temperatures dipping into the 30s, blankets and sleeping bags are crucial. Whether gently used or new, these items will offer comfort and protection from the cold.
- Socks: Often overlooked but highly needed, socks are one of the least donated yet most essential items. Your donation of new or gently used socks can make a significant difference in someone's life.
How You Can Help
To ensure the items we receive are in good condition, we kindly request that donations be new or gently used, without any broken zippers, rips, or tears.
Locations for Donations:
Mokena, IL Showroom: Donations here will benefit MorningStar Mission. Founded in 1909, MorningStar Mission Ministries in Joliet, IL, serves the homeless and those in need, providing both physical and spiritual support. Your donations will directly impact the lives of individuals in need.
Highland, IN Showroom: Donations at this location will benefit Grace Beyond Borders. Established in 2013, this non-profit organization is dedicated to aiding those impacted by homelessness and drug addiction. Your contributions will support their efforts in transforming lives and providing vital resources to those in desperate need.
A Token of Our Appreciation
