Daltile is the home of America's leading designer and manufacturer of ceramic tile, stone, and natural stone. The Daltile Corporation will be celebrating its 76th anniversary in January 2023. The company has been known for over seven decades as the tile industry's design, quality, innovation, and service leader. Daltile's products are now worldwide in both residential and commercial applications.

Robert Brittingham founded the Dallas Ceramic Company, operating out of a small Quonset hut in Dallas, Texas, back in 1947. Then, in 1980, they changed their name to Dal-Tile Corporation and, by 1987, had opened their 100th Sales Service Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. Later, Mohawk Industries acquired Dal-Tile Corporation in 2002 and integrated with Marazzi and Ragno brands in 2013.

It is amazing how much their company has grown from such a simple beginning into the world's largest tile and countertop company. Daltile, despite changes over the years, has maintained its values of being loyal and passionate about its customers and employees. Daltile also prides itself on being devoted to the industry, the community, and the future.

Daltile's ability to innovate, grow, and respond to changes in the industry has made them who they are today. This spirit took them from a small family-owned business to a vital part of a Fortune 500 Company and a multifaceted industry leader.
