Help homeless families get through this winter season by “giving the gift of warmth.” We are collecting the following:

→ WINTER COATS – All sizes from infant, baby, toddler, junior, adult and extended sizes are needed. Snow pants, hats, scarves, gloves and mittens would also be useful.

→ BLANKETS or SLEEPING BAGS – The temperature is already dipping into the 30’s. With this in mind, we are looking for gently used or new blankets and sleeping bags.

→ SOCKS – These are the most needed and least donated item.

In addition, please note we can only accept donations of items that are new or gently used, without broken zippers, rips or tears.

Items brought to our Mokena, IL showroom will benefit

MorningStar Mission Ministries in Joliet, Illinois was founded by Peter McCarthy in 1909 to feed the hungry, help the homeless and encourage people in need to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Under the direction of Executive Director Sandi Perzee, they continue following Pete's tradition of ministering to the whole person. In short, they serve physical needs first, followed by spiritual guidance. MorningStar Mission continues to help all who are in need through numerous programs and services. Items brought to our Highland, IN showroom will benefit

Grace Beyond Borders NWI, Inc., was founded in 2013 by Marcus Martin. It is a non-profit organization located in East Chicago, Indiana with the purpose of meeting the physical and spiritual needs of those impacted by homelessness and drug addiction. God is using Grace Beyond Borders to change the lives of men, women & children in desperate need. Thanks to established partnerships and donations from individuals, churches, organizations and agencies in the community. As a result, their staff & volunteers are able to provide food, clothing & referrals for lodging to them.
