I couldn't decide on just one best luxury vinyl plank flooring, so I will talk about two of my favorites!

To start with, my favorite EVP flooring that I always recommend is Southwind’s Harbor Plank:

Southwind HARBOR PLANK

HARBOR PLANK is the waterproof, composite core vinyl plank that changed the industry. It comes with a commercial-grade wear layer, incredible core strength, and attached closed cell pad for superior noise reduction (STC/IIC sound rating of 62db). This product will not absorb moisture, mold or mildew. Harbor Plank is the perfect selection for your new waterproof floor." ~Southwind Carpet & Hard Surface

(EVP) Engineered Vinyl Plank replicates hard surface flooring materials like hardwood and stone so well that a trained eye even has a hard time telling the difference. You can enjoy the look of engineered hardwood and laminate flooring, but with much more versatility and resilience. It is incredibly durable and has a heavy-duty high-density fiberboard core. The best part of EVP is that it’s WATERPROOF! It is also relatively scratch resistant.

Secondly is my favorite LVT flooring, Southwind’s Harvest Plank:

Southwind HARVEST PLANK

HARVEST PLANK is a true commercial workhorse with the latest designer features. A 20-mil wear layer, unique texture, V Groove painted bevel, and realistic wood décor, assure that Harvest Plank will withstand the wear and tear of daily life in your home, office or commercial setting.” ~Southwind Carpet & Hard Surface

LVT and LVP are two different ways to describe the same flooring materials. (LVP) Luxury Vinyl Planks usually resemble hardwood floor planks. (LVT) Luxury Vinyl Tile replicates natural stone or tile flooring. Most luxury vinyl is highly water-resistant. Both offer 3D printing technology giving it its depth and realism. It is durable with a high-performance wear layer. LVT and LVP provide the option for a less permanent floor than wood or ceramic tile. There are several different grades of luxury vinyl. So be careful at big-box stores as the lower cost or bargain priced luxury vinyl is less water-resistant and durable. Luxury Vinyl is relatively scratch resistant and easier to repair than other flooring styles.

Both Luxury Vinyl and Engineered Vinyl Plank are affordable. They have an endless selection of styles and colors for any interior design project. Stop in one of our Creative Carpet & Flooring stores to see the infinite variety of vinyl flooring today!
